On June 26, 2025, at 9:00am, the Northern Division Warrant Service Team served a search warrant in Anderson, California. The search warrant was the result of an investigation by the Northern Division Canine Unit of an indoor, illegal marijuana cultivation operation. Our team located several unpermitted structures within the property that were being utilized to illegally grow marijuana. Investigative steps were conducted with the Department of Cannabis Control, and Shasta County Code Enforcement to ensure there were no valid permits to legally grow marijuana on file. In total, our officers located approximately 634 marijuana plants in various stages of maturity. Criminal charges against the property owner, who resides in the Bay Area, will be requested through the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office.
