TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. – Emergency crews are actively conducting a search operation for one or two individuals reported missing in the waters near Aramayo Road in Los Molinos.
The search effort involves California Highway Patrol (CHP) aircraft, a Cal Fire helicopter, and support from the Butte Cal Fire Search and Rescue Team, in collaboration with the Tehama County Sheriff Search and Rescue unit.
Authorities reported that the individuals were last observed north of the train tracks. Despite comprehensive ground and aerial searches, no individuals have been located thus far.
The initial report was received approximately 90 minutes ago, indicating potential missing persons in the flooded vicinity close to Aramayo Road, near submerged baseball fields and roads. As the search operation progresses, the Butte Swift Water Rescue team is preparing to enter the water to assist in the ongoing efforts.
