Tie-down ropers Chace Green and Stoney Boy Joseph opened the season strong and made it back to the short go on Saturday evening. Joseph placed second in the average and Green placed eighth. Joseph also placed second in the team roping event.
Bull riders Ray Mayo and Cody Alexander also opened strong and made it back to the short go Saturday. Mayo won the bull riding and Cody placed third on Saturday. At Friday’s rodeo Ray placed third and Cody placed fourth.
This weekend had its ups and downs but our men’s team had success,” said Suzanne Williams. “We know what we need to work on and look forward to improving at our next rodeo in November.”
Lassen travels to Fresno for their next rodeo on November 11-12.
