JandJ Competitive Dance Team took to the Rainbow Dance Competition stage in Sacramento, California, this weekend.
Walking away with many awards.
Three dancers crowned Dancer of the Year, Kaycee Freitas, Mary Weekley and Kissy Baesman.
In the novice division, soloist Kylee Tancreto was awarded 5th Overall out of 12 solos. Kyannah Johnson and Mary Weekley received 3rd Overall (out of 9 duet/trios. Junior hip hop, Comin in Hot was awarded 3rd Overall out of 17 teams.
In the advanced division, Kate Neuenschwander took home 6th overall in her solo “Darkside” out of 51 solos. A duet “I’m Not a Mountain” performed by Lenna Wade and Zoey Nicholson took home 6th out of 17 competitors. A trio “Major Tom” brought home 7th out of 21 competitors. Our teen hip hop Queen Type took that 5th Overall out of 19 teams, and many more. Also all took home Double Platinums for highest score.
The team also won many Judges Awards and scholarships and many top 10 overalls.
This was JandJ’s last full team comp of the season and it was four days of sharing hard work with some amazing other teams.
