The Golden Eagles punched their ticket to the CCCAA State Championship tournament with a dominant showing last Tuesday, April 28. Feather River opened the day with a commanding 5-0 sweep over Folsom Lake College, setting the tone with strong performances across all pairs. They followed it up with another impressive effort, defeating American River College 3-2 to secure their place among the state’s top teams.
With momentum on their side, the Golden Eagles now turn their focus to the championship tournament, set in Walnut, CA at Mt. San Antonio College. Feather River is set to take on Mira Costa College and Santa Barbara City College in the opening round on Thursday, May 7.
As they prepare for the next challenge, the Golden Eagles carry confidence from a decisive qualifying performance and look to make a deep run on the state stage.
