Feather River College Men’s Football traveled to Coalinga on Saturday, August 30th to open the 2025 season. The Golden Eagles scored 42 unanswered points before surrendering a field goal with no time left on the clock in the 4th quarter. Freshman Quarterback Kayden Leaf from Red Bluff, CA led all rushers with 123 yards, while throwing one touchdown. Returning All-State Sophomore Janerious Jackson rushed for 111 yards (1 TD) with Traven Vigenser and Dominick Espinosa each recording a TD reception on the afternoon. The Golden Eagles defense limited Coalinga to just 237 yards of total offense and 3 total points. Sophomore Linebacker Marco Casi from Sparks, NV led the Golden Eagles with 4 tackles and a sack. Dylan Sumner from Truckee, CA recorded an interception and tackle for a loss. The Golden Eagles are 1-0 to begin the season and will host Gavilan College at home on Saturday, September 6th. Game time is 1:00 PM!
