Feather River College announces Ashley Chavira as the new head coach of the women’s basketball program.
With over a decade of coaching experience at the high school and community college levels, Chavira says she is committed to rebuilding the program and establishing a winning culture. In her interim year, Chavira successfully recruited 17 players to FRC, laying the foundation for a bright future, the college said.
FRC calls Chavira’s leadership the beginning of an exciting new chapter for women’s basketball. The college encourages the community to help welcome Chavira to the Golden Eagles family.
