NorCal Regional Round 1 Bracket | SoCal Play-In and Regional Round 1 Bracket
The brackets are set, and 34 3C2A softball teams are gearing up for postseason play starting with the SoCal Play-In Round on Tuesday, Apr. 28, announced Sunday. Regional Round 1 competition kicks off on Friday, May 1 with Round 2 following on Friday, May 8. All series will be hosted by the higher seeded team.
Sixteen teams from the North and 18 teams from the south will battle to earn one of four spots from each region and advance to the 3C2A State Championships at Bakersfield College on May 14-17.
Last year’s defending champion College of San Mateo looks to repeat as it returns as the top seed from the north, while Palomar heads up the South.
This year’s field also features all of the 2026 conference champions, including San Joaquin Delta (Big 8), Fresno City (Central Valley), San Mateo (Coast), Feather River (Golden Valley), Chaffey (Inland Empire), Saddleback (Orange Empire), Palomar (Pacific Coast), Cerritos (South Coast), Ventura (Western State-North), and Antelope Valley (Western State-South).
Feather River College will host Fresno City College on May 1st and 2nd (Best 2 out of 3 series)
Friday May 1st at 2:00 PM and Saturday May 2nd at 12:00 PM (Game 3 if necessary, at 2:00 PM)
