Julia Fay (Ingwerson) Stiffler, 71, passed away Oct. 15, 2025, in Chester, California. Born Nov. 17, 1953, she was a devoted wife of 37 years to her husband, Erik Stiffler.
She is survived by her son, Mainer Harvey; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Becky Ingwerson; and many nieces and nephews who loved her so much. Julia was proceeded in death by her husband, Erik Stiffler; son, Duane Clements; father and mother, Roy Eugene and Mary Lou (Higgins) Ingwerson; grandmother, Minnie (White) Higgins; sister and brother-in-law, Devorah (Ingwerson) Smith and Robert Smith; great nephew, Robert (Robby) McKay-Draughon, along with many other relatives.
Julia worked for a time at Sierra Hospice Forget Me Not Thrift Store, Almanor Manufacturing, Rapid Package Delivery Services, Lassen County Fairgrounds, Pacific Coast Producers Cannery and Motel 6. She enjoyed spending time in the woods, camping, cutting firewood, searching for morel mushrooms and riding her horse. She also loved spending time at Lake Almanor, boating, fishing and taking her dogs to play in the lake.
She was forever that fun/crazy Aunt Jewel, and everyone remembers always having a lot of fun with her. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
