Her remains were returned to Greenville Sept. 27, 2025, and a small family memorial was held in her honor on her birthday.

Janelle Ruth Butner Wemple passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Renown Medical Center with her husband Bill and her sister-in-law Glenda Azevedo by her side.
The Rosary will be held on Friday, November 21st at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, November 22nd with a reception immediately following in the Msgr. Moran Parish Hall. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity

Janet Louise Evans, aged 89, passed away peacefully in her home on November 2, 2025, in Winnemucca, Nevada, surrounded by the love and comforting presence of her daughter Karen, granddaughter Janie, and loyal dog Duke. A Celebration of Life will be held at Susanville Church of the Nazarene, 1825 Spring Ridge Drive, on March 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. A potluck will follow the service.
