Susanville Fire says the Fire at Young Sings on Wednesday evening sparked in the waitstaff prep station. The cause, however, remains under investigation.
After firefighters had to force entry into the building, they found the fire in the kitchen quickly spreading into the seating area. Crews were able to knock down the flames and contain the fire.
Portions of the walls and ceilings had to be torn down to fight the flames.
No injuries were sustained.
The Susanville Fire Department was supported by Cal Fire, CDCR Fire, Susan River Fire Protection District, City of Susanville Water and Gas Departments, LMUD, Susanville Police Department and the Lassen County Sheriff’s Department.
