CAL FIRE Lassen Modoc Unit will be assisting the California Department of Fish and Wildlife with a habitat improvement project located at the Willow Creek Wildlife Area (Willow Creek Valley). This project is expected to begin on Wednesday December 3rd, 2025, and may continue throughout the next two weeks as conditions allow. This project will treat approximately 600 acres of flammable fuels while enhancing natural habitat SMOKE MAY BE VISIBLE in the Willow Creek Valley area for several days, there is no need to report to 911.
