Westwood Man Arrested for Lewd Acts with Minor

On February 4, 2022 detectives from the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert Cox, age 34 of Westwood.  Detectives had sought an arrest warrant for Cox after conducting a lengthy investigation involving the coordination with multiple jurisdictions.  Cox is currently being held at the Lassen County jail with bail set at $1,000,000.  The charges are as follows:

Two counts violation of 288.5(a) P.C. – Continuous sexual abuse of a minor under 14 years of age
