The Lassen Volcanic Ntl Park is looking for your comments on a project. Improvements are needed on the water supply for Lost Creek Group Campground and Volcano Adventure Camp. The project will be to replace surface water collection with a subsurface well source. Often Water from Lost Creek fails to meet state drinking water standards due to brief flushes of volcanic ash sediment. When this happens the park must truck in water to serve the two facilities on site. You can submit a comment and get more information about the project by visiting the Lassen Volcanic National Park website. Comments will be accepted through March 5th.
