A vehicle chase through Susanville ends in a vehicle fire, flames forcing two homes to evacuate early this morning. Susanville Police engaged in a vehicle pursuit around 3:30 am that ended when Lassen County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assisted with setting spike strips near Lupine Rd. in Milford. The suspect’s vehicle was successfully stopped but caught fire and spread into the nearby vegetation. The nearby flames forced Law enforcement to evacuate two nearby homes while the Milford Fire Protection District put out the flames. An investigation into the incident is being completed, with further details to become available.
