With under one week left to get your ballots in for the General Election, early voter turnout remains low.
Lassen County Clerk-Recorder Julie Bustamante shared nearly 20% of ballots have been returned already, while Plumas county shows almost a quarter returning. As of November 1st, no replacement ballots will be mailed out due to lack of turnaround time; if you need yours replaced, you will have to head into the elections office to get one.
A few reminders when filling out yours, verify you have signed and written your correct physical address on the envelope. No P.O. boxes can be accepted. If you choose to mail your completed ballot, you must have it postmarked by November 8th, Election Day.
