Two Caltrans projects are set to hit next week bringing delays to your travel in Lassen County.
Hwy 139 Antelope Drapery Project begins on July 11th. Crews will install a cable mesh drapery system starting five miles north of the intersection of State Route (SR) 36 and SR 139.
The initial week of the project will see the longest delays as crews remove rock from the top of the hillside. You can expect delays to be upwards of 30 minutes, followed by minimal delays once completed.
The second project to begin on July 11th as well is the Bass Mountain Mill and Fill Project along US 395. Work has been rescheduled to take place overnight to reduce the impact of congestion during the height of summer travel. Work will begin starting at 7 pm to 7 am with minimal delays.
