No more delays to your travel along us 395 as Caltrans completes its paving project near Ravendale.
You may now notice smoother driving through the 16-mile stretch of highway from just north of Karlo Road to 1.5 miles south of Ramhorn Road.
The $2.8 million project was fully funded by Senate Bill (SB) 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. Caltrans Director Tony Tavares said funding from this bill has helped “extend the life of a valuable regional thoroughfare and provides commuters, recreationists, and freight movers with a smoother travel surface.
The project also lent to improvements of the shoulders of the highway, striping, and guardrails.
