Lassen County Behavioral Health and Social Services works towards benefitting the community with the opening of three new wellness centers. Lassen County’s Behavioral Health and Social Services Director Barbara Longo shares the first location opening will be in Westwood. The Wellness center will focus on mental health, physical health and more for the community. Staff has already been trained and the center is near opening. There will however be a grand opening scheduled for March 31st. Longo also said the remaining two wellness centers will be opening in both Herlong and Beiber in the coming months.
