A threat made to Lassen High School has been determined to be a false alarm. Principle Superintendent Morgan Nugent said the threat was called in to the Sheriff’s office around 9:30 this morning. Immediately the school went into a hard lockdown while the police and sheriff’s departments responded. In under an hour the call was found to be false. Nugent thanked both departments for their quick response. Students resumed regular class instruction by 10:20. The investigation is still ongoing, no further details about the call are known at this time.
