Park Service officials say, “during the shoulder season, a mild fall day can quickly become a snowstorm.”
The park adds you can expect to see changes as the weather changes, including the removal of guiding signs along the park road and more of the facilities closing. Be prepared for the occasional temporary closure of the park roads which may happen with snow accumulation.
Snowfall is in the forecast through Tuesday.
Be prepared and plan ahead is making a visit to the Lassen Volcanic National Park.
