After years of rebuilding and community effort, The Crescent Store announces its official grand reopening party Saturday, Sept. 20, from noon to 3 p.m. The celebration will feature a free community barbecue, live music from a local band and guided tours of the restored historic property, originally built in 1926.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore the hotel, bar, event space, museum and more, all thoughtfully designed to honor Crescent Mills’ rich history while welcoming new generations of visitors, say organizers. “Once a cornerstone of the community, The Crescent Store was nearly lost during the devastation of the Dixie Fire,” they said. “Its return symbolizes both revitalization and resilience for Indian Valley, providing a place where locals and travelers alike can gather, celebrate and connect.”

“We’re thrilled to open our doors once again,” said Mat Fogarty. “The Crescent Store is more than just a building — it’s a piece of our town’s story. This grand reopening is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported this project through its hardest times.”

The Crescent Store is located at 15792 Highway 89 in Crescent Mills.
