It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Susanville. Public works director Bob Godman says you will start seeing crews adorning Main Street with the traditional garland of lights strung across the road as soon as November 28th.
Before this, on Monday, the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce will begin setting up the town’s Christmas tree centered in front of the Elks Lodge at the top of town.
The tree will have its lighting ceremony the night of Magical Country Christmas on December 2nd, following the parade. The chamber’s efforts to secure sponsors for the grand firework display have been met with support from dedicated city council members contributing discretionary funds. Together, the community ensures that this cherished tradition shines bright this holiday season.
