Surprise Valley Electric Company announced that Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, they are planning an outage for emergency repairs that will affect some members differently in certain areas. Please read the information below carefully. Affected members should have received an automated call this morning, notifying them of these outages.
SVEC members located in the following areas will experience a brief, 10-minute outage at approximately 9:00 a.m., and again at approximately 12:00 p.m. (noon): Alturas area, Cal Pines, Likely, Jess Valley, Madeline, Ravendale, and Termo.
SVEC members located between Alturas and Likely (slightly south of Alturas and slightly north of Likely) will remain out of power from approximately 9:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 p.m. (noon).
