The individual involved in the shooting near Burger King and Mazatlan Restaurant has been captured.
In a statement by the Susanville Police Department, 36-year-old Patrick Joseph McIntire “turned himself in to Nevada County authorities on August 1st.” He was then transferred and booked into the Lassen County Jail on August 5th.
McIntire was wanted in connection with the shooting incident that occurred on Sunday, July 23, that left a 36-year-old unidentified male with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
McIntire is now charged with a single felony count of aggravated assault involving a firearm. There is no bail set at this time.
