Susanville Police Chief Says Use App to Help in Dogs-at-Large Community Concern

Susanville’s Chief of police Ryan Cochran and the public works code enforcement have addressed concerns about dogs at large in the community.

The chief saying patrols have been increased in areas where dogs have been reported, but these dogs are difficult to apprehend. The city requests your help identifying and tracking these animals using the Susanville Click & Fix app. You can provide photographic evidence and the dog’s location by taking a photo with your smartphone and submitting it through the app. This information will help city staff focus patrols where they are needed most. If you cannot take a photo, you can submit a request on the city’s website with a detailed description and location of the dog.

Safety is of top priority, the police chief asks you to ensure that you are in a safe location when using the Susanville Click & Fix app.
