Susanville Police Arrest Man After Discovering Improvised Explosive Device

Susanville Police Press Release.

On Monday, October 13, 2025, at approximately 1:45 p.m., officers from the Susanville Police Department responded to a call for service
in the area of Campbell Road. During the course of the investigation, officers discovered an improvised explosive device (IED) inside a
residence. As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old male resident of Susanville was taken into custody. He is currently being held at the Lassen County Jail on multiple charges related to this incident. The Susanville Police Department would like to extend its gratitude to
the Washoe County Consolidated Bomb Squad for their prompt and professional assistance in safely handling and mitigating the
potential threat.
