A case of mistaken identity may be the result of last week’s vindictive shooting of a parked vehicle along Joaquin Street. The Susanville Police is on a continued search for the suspect. Yet the department shared they are have leads on parties involved. Multiple videos have been provided to the department from the incident from the nearby video surveillance system. Investigators have been led to believe the vehicle that was shot at was mistaken for another whom the suspect intended to target. No names have yet to be provided to the police department since the release of the first video. Yet an update on the incident is expected by week’s end.
