Three Susanville Fire Department staff members get promoted in an announcement by Fire Chief Moore. Firefighters II, Andrew Jarrett and Dale Johnson have been promoted to Fire Apparatus Engineer. Both firemen have been with the department for 4 years managing areas such as fleet repairs, public education programs, and safety equipment maintenance and repairs. Also promoted was Fire Apparatus Engineer Leon Myers who is now a fire Captain. Myers has been with the department for almost 10 years managing the radio maintenance and repairs as well as the department’s social media. This year The Susanville Fire Department celebrates 100 years of service to the community.
