Susanville DMV office will now be open only three days a week. You have one final month before the new hours become effective. Starting July 1st, you can only get into the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Hours will be 8 to 5, with the exception of Wednesday, when the office opens an hour later at 9 a.m.
The change coincides with the DMV’s shift to a “mobile first organization, moving many services to its online portal. Which aims to improve efficiency and respond to customers’ needs according to DMV Director Steve Gordon.
When the offices are closed, staff will address online transactions requiring additional processing.
