Susanville local parks will be receiving concrete benches, bleachers, and picnic tables from the California Correctional Center. The prison is stated to close this June and efforts have been made to clear the facility of these items. CCC has chosen to donate them to the city to benefit the Susanville Community Parks. The City Council accepted this donation in their meeting on January 18th.
