Several items will be discussed at this week’s upcoming Susanville City Council meeting. The first on the agenda is a discussion regarding the lease and operations of the Diamond Mountain Golf Course.
Next on the agenda is the consideration of approving the Fire Chief to execute a cooperative Fire Protection Agreement with the Lassen National Forest. The departments have been working together to update the agreement with changes to administration contacts, updated maps of the city limits, and salary reimbursement schedules.
The council will also consider approving a budget increase through grant funds to the Airport by $6,100.00 to purchase a new windsock tower and assembly. Strong winds broke the support for the middle windsock at the Susanville Airport and it must be replaced.
A new curb and gutter along South Lassen Street will also be up for discussion. The project would go to Crazy J’s Concrete if approved.
The council will meet at 5 pm, Wednesday, May 3rd at City Hall.
