Susanville’s city council will meet this evening with a rather light agenda.

The council will be up to consider approving several items. Those include going into contract with an auction company to help the Susanville fire department surplus unused vehicles, continuing property lease with the Milford Fire Department for the use of needed equipment, and the purchase of a hanger at the Susanville municipal airport as is customary in the city receives first choice to buy when notice of intent to sell is given.

Lastly, the city will weigh in on the planning commission’s recommendation to fine the property owners of a site on Russell Ave, the Tezak Family Trust, for failure to maintain the property to city standards.

Council meetings are open to the community, held at City Hall, beginning at 5 pm.
