The council will also discuss installing security fencing around the Cady Springs Water Tank and the closure of Main Street in Uptown for Magical Country Christmas with the Lassen Chamber of Commerce. If approved, the resolution allows Main Street to be closed for the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Annual Magical Country Christmas Celebration on December 2, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The Public Works Director will also seek approval for adopting the Water Management Plan, which revised the 2020 Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan. This is per state requirements.
