Susanville Econ Development Ad Hoc Comittee to Present Plan at June Council Meeting

The city of Susanville has had an economic development ad hoc committee since the reality of the city’s financial situation has become dire. Many wonder what the ad hoc committee has done other than suggest developing and bringing in warehouse industry to boost revenue. City Administrator Dan Newton shed some light for the town that there will be an ad hoc committee update presentation to come during a future council meeting. The committee will present the plan for which they have put together for council condsideration. The plan will be a living document that can be altered and revised through the course of the timeline. To hear this update Newton projected the committee will present at the council’s June 15th meeting.
