The highly scrutinized development of Supportive Housing for those experiencing homelessness within Lassen will return to the board of Supervisors. The County’s Housing and Grants Division announced a public hearing on the latest efforts will be held this Tuesday, September 19th.
The division under Health and Social Services has been working on creating supportive housing, partnering with Housing Tools, a housing development firm, to conduct a current detailed feasibility study on various potential properties for the housing development.
This study focused on evaluating the suitability of these properties based on their location and site characteristics.
During the September 19th public hearing, you will have the opportunity to hear this updated information and share your comments and opinions on the matter.
The hearing is set for 10 a.m., and the board of supervisors will convene at 9 a.m. within their chamber on Nevada Street in Susanville.
