On the night of June 18th, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office RAVEN 3 and Search & Rescue were called to assist the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office in rescuing an injured paraglider who had crashed in the mountainous area near Hallelujah Junction. The Huey helicopter, equipped for technical hoist missions, successfully executed a complex nighttime hoist operation. The injured individual was safely lifted and transferred to CareFlight for further transport to Renown.
