If you have held off on cutting your Christmas tree due to the weather or haven’t found the time, you can still get your permits at Lake Almanor Ace Hardware. The Lassen National Forest Christmas tree permits are still available. Other retail locations have sold out. The store is open weekends and is located at 417 Main Street in Chester.
