Highway 70 re-opens from a complete closure with some delays days ahead of schedule, lightening your commute through the Feather River canyon this week. Crews placed larger culverts at Opapee creek, where June’s debris slides wiped out the roadway. Work was scheduled to be completed by tomorrow, but crews were able to wrap up the work on Saturday. There will continue to be reconstructive repairs to the roadway between the Jarbo Gap and Greenville Wye, bringing you up to 30-minute delays each day of the week, 24 hrs a day, with one-way traffic control.
