Susanville Police Chief Ryan Cochran announced to City Council that the Police Department would be conducting a follow-up on John Murray, the owner of the hybrid Wolf dogs running loose throughout town, causing stress to the community as they attacked pets and wildlife. Murray had a final hearing held on March 15th and has received citations from the Police Department. His dogs have also been seized from his property.
Officers will complete the checkup to ensure Murray complies with the City Regulations, and if Murray is not within the terms, the Department will move forward with a court date to fine Murray.
