Fire restrictions have been reissued by the forest service ahead of the coming holidays. Summer brings more people outdoors and the forest service has put back into place an order that prohibits the use of any materials that would create an explosive, stops you from using fireworks within forest service areas, or any type of pyrotechnics, or combustion engine without a spark arrestor. With over 20 million acres across the US managed by the Forest Service and 90 percent of fires being human-caused, the forest service is taking the proactive step to help you prevent fires from starting. The order remains in effect for the next three years.
