SHARE NOW

There is so much snow the Lassen Volcanic National Park is extending Ranger Ledd Snowshoe walks. You can take part in the adventures each weekend through April 30th. The walks start at 1:30.

The park says with the latest round of storms, another 2 feet of snow fell at the northwest entrance, bringing a total of 7 feet on the ground, and the snowpack at the southwest entrance is even deeper.

Space is limited for the snowshoe walks, and no reservations are accepted, but you can get a placeholder on the day of the walk inside the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center. S

Snowshoes are provided only for the program only.
