This is a reminder that SVEC’s automated call system is used for a variety of calls – planned outage notifications, tree crew notifications, past-due balance reminders, etc. These calls are part of our effort to keep you informed while helping reduce call volume on our office phone lines. When sent out these automated calls, SVEC often receives a surplus of callbacks which tie up the office phone lines. They kindly encourage you to answer or listen to the voicemail if you receive a call from SVEC, as it may contain important information about work being done in your area, power outages, or other account information.
PLEASE NOTE: SVEC is aware of the many scams happening these days, including demands for payments for electric bills, etc. These types of calls are not associated with SVEC. The automated calls will never ask you to provide a payment. They are only meant to provide information to members.
