The Sierra County Sheriff’s Office has shared that they are aware that the 9-1-1 lines for Sierra City are down at this time.
The department is actively working with PG&E to resolve this problem.
Downieville residents are warned to be aware of road closures that include Sunnyside and Church St along with Upper Main and to be mindful that power lines are down around town.
PG & E is aware of these issues and will address them today.
