Lassen County Supervisors Agenda for Tuesday April19th. The board kicks off the meeting with recognizing May as Foster Care month in Lassen County. On the consent calendar, that may not come up in a discussion unless pulled will have the supervisors considering approving a request from the sheriff’s department to support the Lassen and Plumas County Emergency communications integration project. A proposal of the project will be given to Congressman Doug LaMalfa’s office under next year’s community project funding program. The project aims to combine the 911 dispatch centers allowing overflow calls to be answered by either county and will help cover during times of service interruptions especially during fires and power outages. Steps have already been taken by both departments but a full integration is needed to complete full coverage and redundancy. This would include radio communications, networks, record management systems, and computer aided dispatch. The board meets at the supervisors chambers on Nevada street.
