Sheriff Hermann Announces New Undersheriff for Plumas County
Sheriff Chad Hermann is pleased to announce the selection of Jeremy Beatley as the new Undersheriff for the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office.
Undersheriff Beatley began his law enforcement career in 1997, attending the San Diego Regional Public Safety Training Institute before joining the El Cajon Police Department. In 2001, he returned home to Plumas County to continue his service with PCSO.
In 2006, Jeremy was promoted to Detective, and in 2015, to Patrol Sergeant. He has served on the PCSO SWAT team since 2003, becoming SWAT Commander in 2015—a position he continues to hold. In 2019, he was promoted to Special Operations Sergeant, and in 2024, to Patrol Commander.
Now, with decades of experience, leadership, and dedication to the people of Plumas County, Jeremy Beatley steps into the role of Undersheriff.
