The Seneca Healthcare District (SHD) has announced the addition of Amanda C. Hartman, MD, to its team at the Lake Almanor Clinic. Dr. Hartman, a board-certified medical doctor, brings over seven years of experience and six certifications in her field. Her presence is expected to bolster healthcare services in the Lake Almanor Basin.

Dr. Hartman will provide primary care to the Lake Almanor community until October, during which she will evaluate SHD as a potential long-term career option. She is currently sharing practice duties with Lori Koehler and will also occasionally cover the Walk-in Clinic in Chester.

“We graciously welcome Dr. Hartman to the community,” said Judy Cline, Chief Nursing Officer of SHD. “Her professional presence is wholly appreciated and celebrated by members that benefit from her care.”

For appointments with Dr. Hartman, community members can call 1(833) 227-3743. The Lake Almanor Clinic, located at 199 Reynolds Road, Chester, CA 96137, currently accepts new patients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, closing from noon to 1:00 pm for lunch.
