Search Continues for Missing McCloud Mountain Biker

The search for a missing Siskiyou County man continues near McCloud after he went missing on his mountain bike last Wednesday. 66-year-old Terry Knight of McCloud left with only a pack on his back as he headed for the trails but never returned home. His wife reported him missing and the search has been ongoing with Siskiyou county search and rescue, CHP helicopters, ground teams from the California State Guard, Marin and Napa counties, two mountain bike teams from Butte County, six K9 teams from the CA Rescue Dog Association, Monterey Bay and Siskiyou County as well as an ATV team from Napa County. As of yesterday, some items of Knight’s were found including his mountain bike, helmet, and some items of clothing near Mud Creek, northeast of the McCloud Mill. Knight has a heart condition that is concerning, search efforts have continued throughout the night and into today.
