The Lassen National Forest says, Know before you go, as projects are underway for the summer season.
Forest Service crews are currently working on the Zoombug Roadside Hazard Tree Removal. The project is expected to run throughout summer in the Almanor Recreation District. You may encounter heavy equipment working in the area on county road 307, from Highway 89 Lake Almanor to Butte Meadows. If traveling through the area, slow down and travel with extra caution.
The Forest Service asks if possible plan to use alternative routes during hauling and felling operations, saving you time by avoiding delays.
