By next Wednesday you can expect delays through Susanville and Janesville as Caltrans and Hat Creek construction begin a repaving project along SR 395. July 6th work will begin on the Bass Mountain Mill and Fill project that will replace existing asphalt surfacing. Delays will be seen from just North of Sunnyside road to the North of the 36 junction. Overnight work will take place for two days from the 6th to the 8th, then you can continue to expect one-way traffic control Mondays through Fridays during daytime hours, with delays over 15 minutes. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of August. The nearly 2 million dollar project has been partially funded through Senate bill 1 for road repair and maintenance.
